Kevin Lackey Rejoins SyncroFlo

Kevin Lackey returns to SyncroFlo, in the role of Municipal Project Manager. Kevin is a 1986 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. Since 1990, he has worked in the packaged pumping industry. "Kevin returns to us with 8 years of experience with a Fortune 500 company, which had until his departure a major presence in the municipal pump station industry. Their loss is definitely our gain," said Richard Hanson, Business Manager. 

Lackey joins a municipal sales team comprised of David Romaine, Rich Smith, John Kahren and Jonathan Gaillard, each with over a dozen years in the packaging industry with at least 2 different organizations. "Our sales team was already as strong as it’s ever been. Kevin might double our productivity in municipal sales. He knows how to find win-win solutions," said David Hanson, CEO.

Steve Bradley earns Professional Engineer Certification

Atlanta, GA - (February 9, 2008)

SyncroFlo is proud to announce that Steve Bradley has earned his Professional Engineering certification.
 
"As we continue to better serve the changing demands of the engineering community by improving the quality and professionalism of our engineers, we find professional registration to be integral to our success," says John Kahren, President.
 
Mr. Bradley chose certification in Controls and Instrumentation, a lesser-known specialty. Business Manager Richard Hanson says "The most important part of our job is the integration of the electrical and the mechanical. While its common for others in our industry to rely on mechanical engineers to do it all, we see the benefit in having all the specialists on-staff."
 
Mr. Bradley brings the number professional engineer employed by SyncroFlo to three. "I’m always available as a resource to our engineers, designers, and salespeople. But I don’t go to job sites the way I used to. It’s nice to have a PE in the trenches, so to speak, " says David Hanson, PE, chairman and CEO.

SyncroFlo to Participate in Yankee Stadium Renovation

SyncroFlo to Participate in Emory University Project, Reusing Water On-Site

Atlanta, GA - (January 9, 2008)

SyncroFlo has begun fabrication of domestic water booster system for the newest Emory University Freshman Residence Halls. "These projects are special to us, because we are partnering with Emory University, Newcomb & Boyd, and Siemens Water Technologies to progress the technology of on-site water reclaimation," said Richard Hanson, Business Director. "We are storing storm water, water that would have otherwise ended up in a treatment plant, and using it on-site. Here in Atlanta, we are in a drought of historic proportions. We are excited about being part of this project."
 
The pump system’s major components are typical of today’s technology. End suction pumps, variable speed drives, stainless steel piping, industrial grade plc controller, and digital operator interface. The instrumentation and control sequence were typical of other industries that SyncroFlo also serves.

SyncroFlo Receives ASPE Honor

Atlanta, GA - (April 17, 2002)

SyncroFlo, Inc. was presented with one of the highest awards during the ASPE 2002 Convention held in October 2002. The ASPE Industry Award was presented to David Hanson PE for outstanding service to the advancement of plumbing engineering technology.
