ENGINEERING TRAINING
Booster Pump University is an advanced engineering curriculum focused on Booster Pump sizing selection and new technology developments, to include both classroom and hands-on training.

Class Objectives:
Obtain a better understanding of SyncroFlo’s capabilities, certifications and competencies. Up-to-the-minute knowledge of what’s going on in booster pump technology, and what you should do about it. Witness the demonstration of booster pumps and rainwater treatment packages in action.
About the Instructor…
Richard Hanson currently helps develop the Commercial Building Trades marketing initiatives and helps with strategic business planning for SyncroFlo. Richard is a 1989 engineering graduate of Georgia Tech. He has worked in the plumbing industry all his adult life, as a salesman, marketer, designer, industrial engineer, computer programmer, and manager. He was a sales rep for SyncroFlo, Watts Industries, and Raychem/Tyco prior to joining SyncroFlo in 1995. He enjoys exercising and tinkering in the workshop.

SERVICE TRAINING
Our service training is limited to 5 service techs and is primarily hands-on training. The class begins with an overview of SyncroFlo and Pumps 101 and the reminder of the training is spent on our shop floor. Content covered includes: Pre-Start-up Checklist, VFD, Control Design, Troubleshooting, Seal replacement, Valve Repair, Installation guidelines, Constant versus Variable – Function/Equipment, How to tear down and put together a PRV, Replacing mechanical seals and pumps, Control diagnostics, pressure switches, lights, alarm codes, touchscreen layout and function.
SyncroFlo University is a Certified ASPE Education Provider. At the conclusion of either training, attendees will earn 0.4 CEU Credits or 4 PDH Credits.
